Chilling vibes in Oakham! 🏡
The brekkie was on point—def a full spread that sets you up for the day! Victoria was such a legend, even lit the log fire for us. And the lovely church view from the room just made it all super special!
Just a tiny bit tricky to find the place at first.

Georgian architectural features, beautiful rural hamlet, ties to Pride and Prejudice
Navigating the area isn't straightforward without a car!!! The amenities could use some sprucing up to match expectations, and the outdated decor might not appeal to everyone’s taste. A touch of modernization wouldn't hurt!!!

Staying in the Twin Room was a delight! The bed was super comfy, and I loved how the breakfast was laid out like a royal feast. The selection of cereals and toast was impressive, and they made my full English just the way I wanted. Plus, the cute little dog shared some of my bacon, which totally made my morning! Definitely a cozy and memorable experience!

The Deluxe Double Room was charming with a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxation, and the breakfast spread included hot waffles that were a delightful treat. a major downside was the abrupt wake-up call at 10 am, an hour before the scheduled checkout. This left us feeling rushed and uncomfortable. the breakfast options might limit those with specific dietary needs, as vegan alternatives were not readily available without prior notice.
